Summary

Join Timmons Group as a Sr. Project Manager and work remotely within our Solutions Development Group. You will guide the project delivery process for custom application development and data analytics projects, leveraging your technical expertise and Scrum experience. This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their needs, working with teams to plan and deliver solutions, and managing project risks and issues. You will also mentor junior Project Managers and contribute to proposals and RFP responses. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with relevant certifications and experience in Agile software delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management or related field
  • CSM, CSPO or equivalent agile certifications and PMP are required
  • 6+ years of experience in Agile Software delivery
  • Ability to be creative, open minded and organized
  • Must possess excellent communication skills
  • Ability to provide direct, constructive feedback to both teams and individuals
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload efficiently
  • Ability to delegate tasks and provide direction as needed
  • Ability to constantly gather feedback about our project delivery process, evaluate it, and incorporate changes based upon it if needed

Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships
  • Plan and manage changes to project scope, resources and timeline
  • Work with team members to understand client needs
  • Identify resources required to achieve project deliverables
  • Create, maintain and report project metrics to the team and to stakeholders
  • Plan and coordinate project teams and scrum ceremonies
  • Plan and manage project risks and issues
  • Provide support and manage request intake by asking clients specific questions to capture details about bugs and/or business goals/requirements for changes or feature enhancements
  • Manage and communicate release cadences for our support clients
  • Ensure quality standards and profitability targets for project are met
  • Provide superior customer service and ensures all tasks and projects are managed to client satisfaction
  • Manage and track support / hosting agreements, as needed
  • Facilitate and coordinate project transition to the support phase with delivery team and support clients
  • Assist with proposals and RFP responses
  • Serve as Business Analyst and/or Project Manager small to medium discoveries and projects
  • Provide mentoring/coaching to level l and ll Project Managers
