Summary

Join Kiln as a Senior Protocol Engineer and contribute to the development and improvement of our leading enterprise-grade rewards platform. Based in Paris, London, or remotely from Western EU, you will perform technical due diligence on new protocols, run protocols in testnet, and serve as a technical expert. You will collaborate with protocol foundation teams, represent Kiln at events, and create educational content. This role requires 3+ years of crypto industry and DevOps experience with a strong Kubernetes focus, along with experience running validator nodes. Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in the crypto industry. Demonstrated passion for the industry and following recent developments. You are addicted to crypto twitter :)
  • 3+ years DevOps experience with a very strong focus on Kubernetes
  • You have run validator nodes (and not only blockchain nodes) yourself either professionally or as a hobbyist
  • Analytical mind and rigorous communication . You enjoy and are good at synthesising complex information and conveying your learnings both in oral and written format
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup/scaleup environment

Responsibilities

  • Do technical due diligence on new protocols being evaluated for Kiln’s roadmap
  • Run protocols in testnet on Kiln servers before handing them over to the Kiln infa team for mainnet / ongoing production
  • Be a technical expert on relevant protocols to help answer internal and external questions on their operations. Write educational content
  • Liaise with protocol foundation teams
  • Represent Kiln at ecosystem events
