Senior Python Backend Engineer

Requirements

• Python development experience
• DB development experience, preferrable PostgreSQL
• Experience with Databases and database design principles at cloud scale
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes, tools, and Agile methodologies
• Hands-on Experience with AWS or other cloud providers
• Experience with continuous refactoring
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and experience working with a deployment pipeline
• Familiarity with building scalable systems and services in the cloud
• Experience with Git or equivalent distributed revision control systems
• Experience with Node.js

Responsibilities

• Involve with all aspects of software development, working to create and maintain the most reliable, secure, performant, and high throughput service for our customers
• Design and implement scalable and efficient backend services using Python
• Contribute to software design and architecture
• Contribute to improvements in processes and deliverables that increase the effectiveness of the team in responding to customer and needs
