Senior Python Developer in Azerbaijan

Summary

The job involves developing a search system using Python and OpenAI's GPT technology for a global healthcare consulting firm. The Senior Python Developer will be responsible for creating scalable backend systems, APIs, and microservices, enforcing software development best practices, and integrating AI models into the backend services. A degree in computer science or related field and at least 5 years of experience in software development are required.

Requirements

• A degree in computer science or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in software development
• Proficient in Python, especially with FastAPI or similar frameworks like Flask and Django
• Skilled in building scalable backend systems, APIs, and microservices
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts and experience integrating AI models into backend services
• Excellent communication skills and English

Responsibilities

• Crafting and deploying scalable backend systems, APIs, and microservices
• Enforcing software development best practices, verifying design compliance with requirements, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with databases (SQL, NoSQL)
• Experience in UI development using ReactJS
• Experience in leading UI engineering teams
