Senior Python Developer

Summary

Join intive as a Python Developer with 6+ years of experience to deliver high-quality software releases, participate in Agile Scrum processes, and communicate technical processes efficiently. Remote work is possible from Romania.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience as a Python Developer
• Strong understanding of REST APIs
• Hands on experience with testing frameworks like PyTest, unittest, Nose, Robot Framework
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and associated tools
• Knowledge of the entire software lifecycle (Development, Build, Test, Integration)
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with source control tools: Git, GitLab, Gerrit
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum team

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, on time software releases that meet client requirements
• Participate in daily standups as well as backlog refinement, sprint planning and retrospective sessions
• Ensure best practices and software engineering principles are applied at each stage of the development lifecycle
• Proactively suggesting improvements of the codebase
• Present and communicate technical processes efficiently to the client

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Experience with at least one Python web framework (Flask or Django)
