Summary

Join Rho's Platform team as a Senior Python Software Engineer, working remotely in Poland or on-site in Belgrade. You will contribute to building and scaling Rho's all-in-one finance platform. The role involves working with a variety of technologies, including Python, Go, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate possesses experience in web application development, CI/CD pipelines, and working in complex stakeholder environments. A competitive compensation package is offered. Requirements

  • Build web apps and/or services to support a great product
  • Build CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Tools
  • Work in complex stakeholder & regulated environments involving many partners and services
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architectures including trade-offs made to either support higher load or lower latency within an application
  • Experience in a start-up or enterprise within a highly technical market segment, such as AI, security, finance and blockchain, or infrastructure

Responsibilities

Build and scale Rho’s all-in-one finance platform

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Go/JS/Ruby/PHP or similar technologies
  • Proficiency building & deploying applications with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with message brokers and event streaming platforms
  • Experience working in a cloud computing platform like GCP or AWS
  • Experience working in finance including an understanding of how different payment networks work, e.g. ACH, Fedwire, SWIFT
  • Knowledge of accounting or financial software
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers
