Summary
Join CloudLinux, a global remote-first company, as a Senior Python/Full Stack Developer (Django-focused). You will design and build an internal build & automation system from scratch to expedite security patch delivery. This role requires extensive experience in Python (Django), full-stack development, and Linux-based systems. You will be responsible for the entire development lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and maintenance. Requirements
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Python (Django) or full-stack development
- Be proficient in Django and Python for backend development
- Have strong experience with Linux as a development and deployment environment
- Have experience with front-end technologies like React, Vue.js, or Angular (at least 1 year)
- Have proven experience in building web applications and scalable systems
- Have hands-on experience with containers, such as Docker, for development and production
- Be proficient with Git for version control
- Have a solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Have experience with libraries for managing background tasks like Celery or similar
- Have experience with tools for managing task queues like RabbitMQ or Kafka
- Have strong experience with building CI pipelines in tools like Gitlab or Jenkins
- Possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Have an intermediate level of English language proficiency
- Be able to work with vague requirements
- Be a team player who can collaborate effectively
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deliver web applications using Django and related technologies
- Take technical ownership of the created application
- Implement user interfaces using front-end technologies (especially JavaScript frameworks like Refine or React)
- Work with Linux-based systems for deployment and development, including container management (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Build pipelines for code testing and delivery
- Ensure application security and data protection
- Troubleshoot and debug code across the stack
- Use Git for version control, including branching, merging, and pull requests
- Review your colleagues' code
- Plan your work forward
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience with test automation frameworks
- Have experience with Kubernetes, helm charts, and ArgoCD or similar
