Senior QA Automation Engineer

Summary

Join Hack The Box as a Senior QA Automation Engineer and champion quality standards for developer and designer tools. You will be the voice of quality, setting testing requirements and holding the team accountable. Your work will center on the Enterprise Platform, ensuring high-quality services for business customers. This role involves collaboration with various teams, including software engineers, designers, and product managers. The position offers a hybrid or fully remote work model depending on location and is based in Greece. Requirements

• Automation Skills: Proficient in automating using OOP such as Java or C#
• Experience working with design patterns (S.O.L.I.D. Principles)
• Previous experience in Screenplay pattern
• Experience working in agile, multidisciplinary teams
• Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems issues and implement effective tools and solutions
• Collaborative Mindset: Adept in mystic collaboration and communication, possessing the power to harmonise communication across realms
• Excellent command of the English language (written & verbal)

Responsibilities

• Execute & maintain end-to-end automation testing scenarios
• Automate manual testing scenarios for products and features
• Process product reviews and inform the development team of defects and errors
• Communicate quantitative and qualitative testing reports to the team
• Monitor efforts to resolve product issues and track progress
• Retest to ensure that identified errors have been corrected
• Ensure that the final features of the product create consistent experience
• Spot areas for improvement to enhance the products’ experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Mastery with CI/CD platforms and Unix will be an advantage
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS & JS will be highly appreciated
