Summary
Join Beautiful.ai as a Senior QA Engineer and play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our presentation software. You will define and execute testing strategies, collaborate with product owners and engineers, and enhance automated test suites. Responsibilities include writing test code, supporting weekly release cycles, and triaging bugs. We seek an experienced, self-motivated individual passionate about quality and comfortable in a remote environment. Requirements
- You have 5+ years of experience in QA on Agile software teams
- You have 2+ years of experience with Javascript
- You have proven experience developing test automation frameworks and writing test code (Cypress, Playwright, API tests, integration tests, unit tests, modern testing frameworks)
- You know how to write readable, maintainable test cases
- You write clear bug reports and know what information is needed for the team to understand and fix issues
- You are comfortable in Developer Tools, and can effectively interpret web application errors
- You know how to analyze a product and identify maintainable, reliable automation strategies
- You have strong communication skills, and can discuss technical concepts with engineers, and high level business concepts with product owners
- You are comfortable in a remote environment, work well asynchronously, while keeping feedback loops short
Responsibilities
- Define, develop, and execute testing strategies, including comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new product features
- Work closely with product owners to enforce high quality standards in product requirements
- Work closely with engineers to ensure appropriate automated test coverage is in place on all feature work
- Identify and implement opportunities to enhance automated test suites and overall testing efficiency
- Write test code (unit, integration, and UI tests)
- Support weekly release cycles by executing tests targeted towards new changes, accurately identifying the scope of regression testing needed
- Triage bugs, recommend and execute actions such as adding test coverage, adjusting test approaches, etc to prevent regressions
