Remote Senior QA Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Backend Testing Engineer at Binance, a leading global blockchain ecosystem. The role involves participating in the entire software development lifecycle, working closely with team members, improving test strategy, and creating detailed test plans and cases. The candidate should have at least 6+ years of QA engineering experience, be familiar with Backend Testing and coding (Python or Java), and have experience testing Backend services such as APIs, databases, and distributed services.

Requirements

• At least 6+ years of QA engineering experience in Automation and familiar with Backend Testing + Coding (Intermediate coding ability in Python or Java)
• Experience in writing clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Experience in testing Backend services such as APIs, Databases, distributed services
• Strong SQL testing, understanding different SQL statements
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

Responsibilities

• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle
• Work closely with team members to design, develop, test and deliver high quality products
• Create detailed, comprehensive, well-structured and effective test plans and test cases for applications
• Prevent, report, analyse and track issues in an effective and efficient manner
• Improve test strategy to reduce manual test efforts - Design, develop and execute Automation scripts

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge in the Blockchain or Web3 domain
• Big Data middle-wares testing (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Kafka, Flink)
