Summary

The job is for a Software Testing Engineer at Binance, a leading global blockchain ecosystem. The role involves developing, testing, and delivering software products, creating test plans and cases, preventing and analyzing defects, designing automation scripts, and investigating unreleased features. The position requires at least 7-8 years of experience in software testing methodologies, strong analytical skills, familiarity with Linux, databases, APIs, and Agile/Scrum development process.

Requirements

• At least 7-8 years experience in software testing methodologies, both Automation (*Must have) & Manual (General)
• Strong ability to write clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Strong ability to handle Backend services. such as APIs, Databases, distributed services
• Familiar with Linux and database operation: Mysql, SQLServer, Oracle and test environment construction by CICD, Spring Boot
• Good programming: Master in Java coding (Must have)
• Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process and using collaboration tools, such as Jira, Trello, Slack, etc
• Excellent interpersonal, consultative and communication skills
• Self-managed, proactive work style. Able to work independently within a team centric environment

Responsibilities

• Work closely with team members to develop, test, and deliver high quality software products
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Prevent, collect, analyze and track product defects
• Design, develop and execute Automation scripts
• Hands-on Manual investigation and reproduction of functional Backend (Java) software issues
• Root cause analysis of existing test script failures
• Identification of current test script deficiencies and candidates for additional scripted coverage
• Investigatory testing of unreleased features including defining requirements, behavior and impact
• Documentation and design of candidate test scenarios for the above
