Summary

Join Talon.One as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer and become a quality advocate from the development process's start. Collaborate with various teams to define testing strategies, ensure comprehensive test coverage, and embed quality into the development lifecycle. Go beyond testing completed changes by championing best practices, enhancing test automation, and consistently delivering high-quality software. You will become a product expert, collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams, and set the test strategy for each feature. Implement end-to-end automated tests using Cypress and mentor junior engineers. This role requires strong communication, test strategy architecture skills, and a minimum of 6 years of experience in delivering quality web applications with test automation.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in English, and precisely describe complex interactions
  • Ability to architect a strong Test Strategy
  • Strong track record in advocating for quality at all levels of development process
  • Minimum 6 years of experience delivering quality web applications with test automation, including REST APIs/GraphQL

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert in the Talon.One product, and the foremost expert in the area for which your team is responsible
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering functions to ensure our delivered features are consistently of a high quality
  • Set the test strategy, engage critically with all functions from the outset of each feature
  • Ensure we have design and behavioral consistency between features, and strong, efficient test coverage at every level
  • Determine which test scenarios should be included in our suite of end-to-end automated tests, and implement those using Cypress
  • Willingness to proactively help junior Quality Engineers, provide timely feedback, and guide them to success. Contribute to Mentorship Programs and onboarding new joiners

Preferred Qualifications

Active interest in testing security and infrastructure would be a great plus
