Senior QA Engineer

Requirements

• Advanced English in speaking and writing (you will be working with international clients only)
• Strong understanding of QA principles, methodologies, and testing traceability
• Experienced in creating and maintaining automation frameworks and test scripts
• Proficient in Python
• Extensive hands-on experience with Selenium
• Proficient with GIT, Jenkins, and CI/CD tools
• Experience in software integration and system testing on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
• Skilled in database testing and SQL for data integrity verification
• Knowledgeable in REST APIs, web services, performance, and integration testing

Responsibilities

• Actively engage in Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Review, and Daily Standups
• Design and document test cases using the TestRail test management tool
• Identify edge cases and unexpected user behaviors beyond standard test scenarios
• Assess backlog items, highlight potential risks, and ensure well-defined acceptance criteria
• Provide developers with clear, concise, and actionable bug reports
• Proactively suggest improvements to the team's testing processes and best practices
• Continuously contribute to test automation by developing new test cases using a custom automation framework with Python and Selenium wrappers
• Ensure sprint goals and product deliverables are met through manual testing or automation scripts

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Atlassian tools namely Confluence and Jira
• Knowledge of REST/JSON and/or SOAP/XML web services
• Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and contemporary browser technologies
