Senior QA Platform Automation Specialist

Summary

Liminal is a digital asset custody platform founded by Mahin Gupta. They are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design testing framework and procedures for their self-custodial platform. The role involves analyzing functionality, implementing test strategies, identifying software weaknesses, writing automation scripts, troubleshooting, and collaborating with other teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field with 7 to 10 years of experience
• Previous experience working as a QA automation engineer for frontend and backend automation
• Advanced programming skills including automation systems and databases like MySQL
• Advance Knowledge and prior work experience of programming scripting languages including JavaScript, TypeScript, Python
• Knowledge of Postman and postman collections

Responsibilities

• Meeting with the software design team to discuss verification protocols
• Identifying software application weaknesses and target areas
• Sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures
• Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas
• Writing automation scripts and implementing software applications
• Designing and installing software databases
• Troubleshooting of automation software and finalizing system procedures
• Identifying quality issues and creating test reports
• Collaborating with the design, infra, security and other teams to solve application faults

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior work experience and knowledge of blockchain and related technologies will have an added advantage
• Working Knowledge of AWS Cloud Services to create, deploy and manage test infrastructure
• Excellent analytical skills
• Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols
• Knowledge of source code and CI/CD management systems like Gitlab are highly desirable
• Good written & verbal communication skills
• Project management skills are desirable but not mandatory
