Requirements
- Experience with front-end web application test automation frameworks and tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, JestJS, Postman
- Experience on API testing, integration testing, and regression testing
- Solid experience with debugging, log analysis, and root cause investigation of application issues
- Track record in defining, implementing, and optimizing quality strategies for software systems
- Solid understanding of CI/CD, version control, and modern software development practices
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile setting
- Experience coping with and reducing technical debt within fast-moving application environments
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, process improvement, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in defining and implementing the QA strategy, ensuring that quality standards and best practices are effectively integrated throughout the entire development lifecycle
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API testing to validate services' functionality, reliability, and performance
- Contribute to decisions regarding architecture, tools, and scope to maximize efficiency and coverage
- Act as a technical reference for the QA team, guiding them in solving complex challenges, promoting good coding practices, and fostering a culture of technical excellence
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement by researching, prototyping, and implementing new technologies and methodologies that optimize quality processes from a technical perspective and help to reduce technical debt within a fast-moving, agile environment
- Work closely with product, DevOps, and development teams to ensure that technical quality is a fundamental pillar in day-to-day decision-making, and that our CI/CD process is effective and reliable
Preferred Qualifications
- A strong grasp of formal testing fundamentals (ISTQB certification is a plus)
- Familiarity with advanced testing areas like web performance (Core Web Vitals) and security testing (SAST/DAST)
- Experience with our tech stack: JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), X-Ray, or DataDog
