Summary

Join Immersive Labs as a Senior Quality Engineer and contribute to the development and testing of cutting-edge cyber resilience products. You will be part of a new, multi-disciplinary agile team, utilizing both manual and automated testing (Playwright and Typescript) to ensure high-quality product delivery. Collaborate with stakeholders, contribute to test strategy, and mentor team members. This role requires experience in testing complex systems, APIs, and web applications, along with a strong understanding of quality principles and agile development. Requirements

  • Experience of testing complex systems, APIโ€™s and web applications
  • Understanding of Quality principles, tools and techniques including testing concepts, methodologies and processes
  • Good understanding of agile development practice
  • Demonstrate a positive can-do attitude while under pressure, with the ability to organise and prioritise responsibilities
  • Interpersonal skills and be able to work in partnership with other teams within a wider Product org
  • Experience with some form of automation testing (we use Playwright)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with strong business judgement and ability to present analysis in a clear and compelling manner
  • You thrive in a high-growth, performance and deadline-driven environment
  • You are results-oriented, with attention to detail and can prioritize multiple objectives and projects

Responsibilities

  • Working day to day as part of a mixed Agile team comprising of Developers, Product Owner, and various Stakeholders
  • Investigate and design/build solutions for any potential quality weak spots in our products/development workflow
  • Contribute to the testing effort through manual and automated testing
  • Actively participate in team meetings and contribute towards mentoring of other team members
  • Collaborate with others to create and update the test strategy, standards and other quality practices
  • Advocate for quality within the team and across the whole company
