Senior React Native Developer

Summary

Join Encora as a Senior React Native Developer and work remotely from Brazil on a full-time basis collaborating with a U.S.-based client. You will design and develop high-quality mobile applications using React Native and native iOS technologies. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in architectural discussions, identifying and resolving technical issues, ensuring application performance, communicating with stakeholders, and mentoring junior developers. This role requires 7+ years of mobile development experience, including at least 3 years with React Native, strong native iOS development skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities. Fluency in English is essential for client interaction. Experience with Android development, WordPress, and cloud services is highly desirable.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in mobile development, with at least last 3 years using React Native
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Strong proficiency in native iOS development (Swift and/or Objective-C)
• Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture)
• Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and integration tools
• Experience collaborating with product teams and anticipating technical challenges
• Strong coding and testing practices
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and mobile testing frameworks
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence)
• Understanding of App Store deployment and release processes
• Fluent in English, with strong communication skills for client interaction

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality mobile applications using React Native and native iOS technologies (Swift/Objective-C)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Participate in architectural discussions and help shape the technical direction of mobile solutions
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and other technical issues
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Communicate effectively with U.S.-based stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidance
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Android development is a plus
• Experience with WordPress
• Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Firebase)
