Senior React Native Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Senior React Native Engineer at Fire, a company working on simplifying Web3. The engineer will help transition the platform to a mobile wallet, focusing on UI development and working closely with the team. The role can be based in San Francisco, Miami, New York, or remotely.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, a related discipline, or commensurate experience
• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
• A demonstrable passion for web3 and the future of the decentralized web
• Understanding of web3 chains, protocols, and languages (Solidity and Ethereum)

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with the Co-Founders on building Web3 mobile applications
• Design beautiful, engaging and performant UIs
• Work closely with the engineering, product and design team to plan, architect, and launch features within our applications
• Grow technically in the Web3 space through research and product initiatives
• Develop and own high-quality code that allows us to scale to millions of active users

Preferred Qualifications

• Mastery of web development using React Native, JavaScript, Typescript, and NodeJS is highly preferred
• Experience in agile project management processes
• Thrives in a remote work environment and is comfortable with digital communication and productivity skills (Slack, Notion, Zoom, etc.)
