Summary

Join CompanyCam's Design System team as a Senior React-Native/React Developer and play a key role in building and improving our component libraries. You will refine and expand the design system, collaborate with product teams, streamline tooling, and help define team operations. Requirements

  • Strong experience with and knowledge of React Native , along with proficiency in React
  • Experience working with Storybook
  • A background in contributing to or working directly on a design system team
  • Strong proficiency in UI/UX principles, component design, performance optimization, and accessibility for web and mobile platforms
  • 5+ years of experience as a full-time professional developer (we value quality over quantity, so this isn’t a hard cutoff)
  • Permanent and current residency in the United States (unfortunately, we’re not set up to hire outside the U.S. at this time)

Responsibilities

  • Refine and expand the design system: Work closely with designers to build out a React-Native component library and improve our existing React web component library
  • Advocate and implement best practices: Collaborate with product teams to promote adoption and ensure alignment with best practices across the organization
  • Own tooling and workflows: Streamline tooling to simplify publishing new versions and enhance the visualization of existing components
  • Define team operations: Help establish the operating model for this newly formed team, working in partnership with the Product Manager, Designer, and Engineering Manager
