Summary

Requirements
Bachelorβs degree and 10+ years of relevant experience (advanced degree may substitute for some experience)
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional projects to design, execute, and disseminate rigorous quantitative analyses that inform strategic decisions and operational improvements
- Serve as a subject matter expert on study design, causal inference, predictive modeling, simulation, and optimization methodologies
- Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering an environment of continuous learning, innovation, and excellence in data-driven research
- Develop and implement repeatable processes with strong version control (e.g., Git), ensuring high-quality, scalable analyses and transparent documentation
- Identify analysis priorities
- Lead efforts with teams across Aledade and external partners to proactively identify and clarify important strategic and tactical questions for data analysis and experiments
- Design and execute analysis projects
- Design and lead descriptive, predictive, and/or causal inference statistical analyses for large scale projects and complex program areas
- Design and program code to integrate, evaluate, and analyze diverse data sources
- Perform data analysis and statistical modeling to generate actionable insights and solutions
- Supervise junior colleagues in programming and model implementation for large scale projects
- Translate and communicate analysis results
- Form strategic and tactical recommendations for leaders across Aledade teams based on evidence
- Lead efforts across teams to synthesize results from complex analyses, identify implications of analysis results and translate findings into action
- Lead and supervise development and presentation of analytic products that accurately communicate insights from the data and inspire action
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters or PhD in economics, health services research, statistics, or similar
- Proven expertise in advanced quantitative analysis, grounded in econometrics, statistics, or related disciplines
- Advanced data manipulation skills, including proficiency in SQL and statistical programming in R, Python, or Stata
- Demonstrated mastery of causal inference techniques (e.g., randomized trials, regression discontinuity, difference-in-differences, instrumental variables, matched designs)
- Deep understanding of healthcare delivery organizations, including experience with organizational data, and insights into market structures such as horizontal and vertical integration
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex findings to leaders and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Strong project management skills and a commitment to process excellence, quality assurance, and meticulous documentation
