Senior Ruby Backend Engineer

Summary

Join Qonto as a Senior Backend Engineer to lead the development of Regate, a platform accelerating pre-accounting for SMEs and accountants. You'll be part of a 50-engineer team, collaborating with Product and QA to develop and maintain high-quality Ruby on Rails code. Requirements

• You have a strong background in software development, with specific expertise in Ruby on Rails
• Fluent in English, both technically and conversationally
• Proven track record of mentoring junior team members and leading projects

Responsibilities

• Work on the Regate product, developing new features, improving existing ones, and fixing bugs
• Develop and maintain high-quality code in Ruby on Rails, continuously improving the state of our codebase to increase future velocity and reliability
• Collaborate with Product and QA teams to ensure seamless, high-quality deliverables
• Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning
• Drive initiatives to optimize software and tooling for performance and scalability
