This fully remote position offers a salary of $130,000 to $160,000 annually, with opportunities for growth. You will develop and maintain high-quality code, collaborate with stakeholders, and design scalable systems. The ideal candidate possesses 10+ years of experience in Ruby/Rails development, expert-level object-oriented design skills, and experience with large codebases. Requirements
- 10+ years of web application development using a Ruby / Rails tech stack
- Expert-level object-oriented design skills
- Experience working at scale with large codebases, large data sets, and high transaction volume systems
- Experience with continuous delivery development pipelines
- Experience with Kamal for deployment
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring efficient and effective software solutions
- Leverage Rails tooling like Hotwire, Stimulus, Turbo, SOLID Cache, SOLID Cable, or SOLID Queue to build production solutions
- Collaborate closely with Product team stakeholders to understand and address high-priority business requirements
- Design scalable and adaptable systems that accommodate future changes and evolving needs
- Foster clear and proactive communication with both technical and non-technical team members
- Ensure software solutions are built with a focus on delivering the right features in the right way
