Senior Scout, Quality Control - Public Records

Summary

Join ScoutLogic, a leader in background screening, as a Senior Scout, Quality Control. You will evaluate organizational needs, recommend solutions to reduce manual errors, and conduct quality control for the Criminal Research Organization. This role requires 5+ years of business experience, 6 months in a ScoutLogic Criminal Research position, and expert-level FCRA policy understanding. Responsibilities include weekly QC checks on Criminal Scouts, monthly quality analysis, performance issue escalation, process documentation review, and collaboration with training and operations teams. You will also assist with audits, new-hire training, and SOP updates. The position reports to the Director of Operations and works 8 AM to 5 PM CST.

Requirements

• 5+ years of overall business experience in comparable industry
• 6 months tenure within current Criminal Research position at ScoutLogic
• Intermediate/Expert level of understanding FCRA policies
• Mastery of basic ScoutLogic procedures and tools
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills
• Independent and detail oriented

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly QC on all Criminal Scouts to ensure adherance to established SOPs
• Perform monthly quality analysis to identify root cause and solution based on findings
• Escalate performance issues to the Director, Operations for any required action
• Conduct independent review of process documentation to ensure adherence to process
• Partner with Training and Operations team to review and identify gaps in training
• Assists with both internal and external audits
• Assists training team with new-hire development
• Assists with general SOP updates, internal knowledge management tool updates and other process documentation as needed
