Summary
Join Fannie Mae's Enterprise Modeling and Analytics team as a System Developer Engineering Tester Senior Associate. You will contribute to the Multi Family Credit Works application team by developing and designing application automation testing methodologies, performing automation testing, preparing reports, and documenting testing on critical analytics software. Responsibilities include interfacing with software developers and business users, identifying and documenting test cases, developing automation testing frameworks, and ensuring quality testing. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing with automation focus and a Bachelor's degree. Requirements
- 2 years of related experience in software testing, with a focus on automation
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Finance, technical field, or equivalent work experience
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for functional and regression testing
- Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and tools
- Work with QA teams to ensure consistent and reliable testing practices
- Ensure proper documentation of test cases, plans, and execution reports
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work with development teams for resolutions
- Integrate automated testing with CI/CD pipelines
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation
- Proficiency with automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git
- Working knowledge of version control tools like Git and test management tools like JIRA
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Knowledge of performance and security testing is an added advantage
