Join Second Dinner, an award-winning game development studio, as an Automation Engineer! You will play a core role in shaping our automation and testing initiatives for MARVEL SNAP. This role involves designing and implementing technical solutions to enhance test effectiveness and development velocity. You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, analyze test data, and optimize manual testing efforts. Requirements

• Be able to work independently charting the course for the company in test and automation
• Passion for empowering teams with best in class automated testing tools, frameworks, and test harnesses to improve operations
• Knowledge of industry’s best testing practices, including regression, acceptance, functional, and load testing
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipeline solutions and continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with GitHub and GitHub Action
• Experience leading testing automation initiatives
• High levels of empathy and support for team members
• An agile mindset, a desire for constant improvement of tooling, automation and process to improve the quality of our products and the lives of our teammates
• Ability to navigate projects in a start up environment with some level of uncertainty and a seek and solve mindset
• Experience with test automation in Unity
• Passion for playing and making great games

Responsibilities

• Identify, design, and deliver technical solutions (frameworks, tests, API hooks, tools) that increase test effectiveness, coverage, and overall development velocity
• Build and enhance continuous integration and delivery pipelines to support game design teams across MARVEL SNAP
• Own the long term development and roadmapping
• Implement metrics, analyze test data to identify patterns, and report on risk status to help enhance software quality
• Help optimize the existing manual testing efforts and develop new opportunities using automation that will empower the QA team to be more effective and efficient
• Automate everything; from command lines to operating systems, simple to complex processes and anything else you can think of to improve the player experience

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency with .NET, Mobile Devices, and AWS
