Summary

Join Believe as a Senior Security Engineer and play a critical role in protecting our digital music assets. Develop and enhance active defenses, lead threat hunting, respond to security incidents, and participate in purple team exercises. Contribute to improving security practices and policies. This role requires proven cybersecurity experience, strong understanding of networks and systems, and excellent communication skills. Relevant certifications are highly desirable. Requirements

  • Proven experience in cybersecurity, particularly within blue team or a SoC
  • Strong understanding of networks and systems, endpoint protection, SIEM solutions, and Threat Intelligence
  • Experience in incident response and handling, with a keen ability to analyze and interpret security logs and alerts
  • A creative and analytical thinker with a ‘hacker mindset’ who is curious enough exploring the red team domain
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in a dynamic, agile environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance our Active Defenses, using advanced tools and methodologies to monitor, analyze, and respond to potential security threats
  • Lead proactive threat hunting initiatives to identify and address threats
  • Respond to security incidents, minimizing impact and coordinating recovery efforts
  • Participate in purple team exercises to bridge the gap between offensive and defensive security strategies
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our security practices and policies, ensuring they align with industry standards and our company’s agile methodology

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant certifications (e.g., GIEC, OSCP/E etc.) are highly desirable
