Requirements
- A commitment to add to our culture of DEI
- 5+ years in security engineering in cloud-based product environments is a must
- Proven experience operating in an AWS environment with proficiency in architecture and security capabilities in the cloud
- Experience in securing Kubernetes (EKS) and containerized workloads
- Deep knowledge of Cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, CIS Top 20, MITRE ATT&CK, and OWASP Top Ten
- Able to build security into CICD and leverage various automation techniques (using AWS lambda, Python, or similar)
- Experience in one or more of these domains: AWS IAM, container security, intrusion detection, incident response, and/or vulnerability management
- Ability to thrive in a remote-first, diverse and fast-paced work environment
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to clearly articulate to both a technical and functional audience
Responsibilities
- Be an advocate for security within our organization
- Improve Glassdoorβs AWS security architecture and cloud security posture in all aspects, including: CSPM, CASB, IAM, Network Security and DLP
- Lead a risk-based prioritization and remediation methodology for cloud, enterprise SaaS, and Endpoint platforms leveraging vendor & CNAPP solutions
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure our technology implementations and product development methodologies align with our information security policies and improve our risk posture
- Protect valuable information and maintain the confidentiality, integrity, availability, and privacy of data
- Keep abreast of the latest industry frameworks, security issues, and technologies
- Own and improve process and procedural documentation
- Assist with daily activities and functions of the team (including security operations and incident response) to maintain security posture as well as policy and compliance commitments
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant industry certifications like AWS, CEH, or GCIH certification are preferred

- Base salary range*: $112,200 - $149,000
- Annual bonus target**: 10%
- **Bonuses are paid in 6-month intervals, aligning with bi-annual performance reviews
