Appsilon is hiring an R/Shiny Developer to join its fast-growing software house. The job involves designing solutions, choosing technology, knowledge sharing, delivering features on time, communicating with clients, and understanding their problems. Requirements

• Advanced R knowledge, including advanced mechanisms of Shiny
• Proven track of building web applications or websites using R/Shiny and JavaScript
• Writing high-quality optimal code
• Good understanding of reactivity in Shiny and ability to troubleshoot
• Experience in processing, analyzing, and visualizing data sets optimally
• Advanced git knowledge
• Very good knowledge of SQL
• Experience using cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with JS and ability to use it to implement visually impressive applications
• Good understanding of Agile
• Experience working in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Designing comprehensive solutions in R for clients
• Choosing the right technology solutions for the right problems
• Sharing knowledge and driving innovation
• Delivering the features according to the timeline or discussing/communicating the changes
• Taking care of the direct communication with clients
• Showing a high level of understanding of clients' problems
