Senior Smart Contract Engineer

Summary

Ellipsis Labs is seeking an EVM Senior Smart Contract Engineer in New York City. The role involves developing smart contracts for the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and requires experience with EVM smart contracts, working with auditors, understanding of Ethereum and low-level EVM concepts, a team-first attitude, passion for decentralized finance, and additional preferred qualifications such as experience with cloud infrastructure, Rust or other statically typed languages, and experience in quant trading or DeFi. Requirements

• Experience building, deploying, and maintaining EVM smart contracts in production
• Experience working with auditors
• Deep understanding of Ethereum and low-level EVM concepts
• A demonstrated track record of high agency, willingness to dive into unfamiliar technical and non-technical areas, and a team-first attitude
• Passion for decentralized finance

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain critical smart contracts for the EVM, along with the appropriate monitoring systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
• Experience with Rust or other statically typed languages
• Experience in quant trading or DeFi
