Senior Social Media Manager

Summary

Join Airbnb's Channel Communications team as a Consumer Social Senior Manager and help build visibility and awareness for the brand. You will develop and execute social media strategies across major platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter/X. This role requires a deep understanding of social media trends and the ability to craft engaging content. You will collaborate with stakeholders, analyze campaign results, and adapt strategies based on performance. The position is US-remote eligible with occasional office work. The ideal candidate possesses extensive social media experience and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• 7-9 years experience in social media work
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Deep knowledge and expertise in building and executing creative and innovative social strategies across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Twitter/ X
• Experience in crafting and leading social media strategies in the consumer and entertainment spaces
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and support high visibility, high impact social strategies to achieve global communications goals across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter/X
• Move quickly to spot social trends and opportunities on priority platforms and identify and execute newsjacking opportunities that drive positive conversation; oversee agency partners and internal team members in pursuit of the same
• Partner with key Consumer and Entertainment stakeholders to design and deliver social-forward strategies and programming rooted in pop culture
• Assist in the internal and external merchandising of social content strategies and deliverables, ensuring clear communication, approvals and publishing plans
• Analyze and merchandise managed social campaign results, applying learnings in real time to strengthen performance
