Senior Software Developer

Summary

Requirements

• Have a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Bring at least 5 years of experience working in software engineering with relevant programming experience
• Be proficient in .NET backend development, including technologies such as Kafka (or equivalents), AWS, Docker, ECS/Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL
• Know how to break down large epics into smaller issues
• Have worked with the concepts of IaaS/ PaaS/ SaaS
• Have worked extensively with microservices-based architecture and used asynchronous message-based communication
• Communicate fluently in English

Responsibilities

• Implement Core services for the platform in .NET 8 that runs in Docker containers
• Develop features from DB to the APIs
• Ensure the platform remains scalable and the codebase remains maintainable
• Proactively monitoring the services in production and spotting potential issues
• Care about the quality of produced code by covering it with unit and e2e tests

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience applying Kafka for real-time processing
• Have experience leveraging AWS/Docker for DevOps workflows
• Have experience performing PostgreSQL optimizations
• Speak German and any other languages
