Senior Software Developer

Summary

Join Loopio as a Senior Software Developer and play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing our Microsoft Dynamics-based solutions. You will lead the development of end-to-end features, collaborate with cross-functional teams across Canada, the UK, and India, and mentor junior developers. This remote-first position requires 5+ years of experience in software development with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related technologies. Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform
• Develop and customize various CRM components and be able to build D365 CE entities, forms, workflows, plugins, dashboards, and reports
• Implement integrations with external systems using Web API
• Be proficient in using and designing RESTful APIs
• Be involved in development using CRM SDK, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Database
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in the CRM system and provide timely resolution to ensure high system availability and performance
• Be able to develop plug-ins using C# and code UI logic in JavaScript (TypeScript)
• Have knowledge of Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Git
• Strong understanding of database design and RDBMS such as SQL Database
• Be comfortable guiding technical design discussions and facilitating technical decision-making
• Have a growing passion for driving processes and improving software development productivity for your team

Responsibilities

• Lead and rapidly build end-to-end features from scratch for Loopio’s web platform
• Proactively build technology to prevent bugs
• Interact with and gather detailed feedback from our customers
• Collaborate closely with our Product Managers, Product Designers, and other engineers to bring features to life and iterate on them based on our customers' feedback
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Mentor and coach others, providing technical guidance and helping build an environment of knowledge-sharing and encouraged feedback
• Be comfortable leading technical design discussions and facilitating technical decision-making
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and industry standards
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and consistency

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of React and Node
• Experience in the following: Typescript, AWS, Cypress, Elasticsearch, and integration with third-party apps
