Requirements

  • Have 6+ years of experience in customer-facing application development
  • Possess significant expertise in building GraphQL APIs using modern web frameworks like Ruby on Rails
  • Possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts
  • Have a bias toward execution, consistently focusing on getting the job done and driving results even when faced with challenges

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and enhancement of Healthieโ€™s GraphQL API
  • Support the rapidly growing community of developers building on our API-first platform
  • Drive the evolution of our API to support over 1 billion monthly API calls
  • Ensure that developers have the tools, resources, and support they need to extend capabilities, drive analytics, and build custom experiences
  • Work closely with the Engineering team to prioritize and execute high-impact updates to the API experience
  • Continuously improve the developer toolkit
  • Create well-tested production-ready code
  • Maintain high-quality documentation
  • Shape and prioritize the API roadmap based on customer feedback and industry best practices
