Senior Software Engineer, Application Security

Summary

Join HubSpot's Infrastructure Security team as an Application Security Engineer. You will be responsible for evaluating, deploying, and maintaining security technologies to protect HubSpot's codebase and platform. This role requires experience in application security, hands-on tool deployment, and troubleshooting issues across development environments and security automation systems. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), secure development practices, and common attack vectors. You should be comfortable working with at least one programming language (Java, C#, Python, etc.) and be passionate about automating solutions. Requirements

• Experience working with at least one programming language (Java, C#, Python etc)
• Knowledge of public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Basic understanding of secure development practices, public cloud, network, or host security
• Familiarity with common attack vectors
• Be fascinated by the complex issues that arise as a result of operating large-scale systems
• Be far happier writing software to automate solutions to problems instead of manually pushing buttons
• Be excited to learn and grow

Benefits

Annual Cash Compensation Range: $157,600 — $236,400 USD
