Senior Software Engineer

Summary

The role of a Software Engineer on 0x's Pricing Team involves optimizing algorithms for delivering the best prices at the fastest speeds in the blockchain space. The tech stack includes Rust, TypeScript, Solidity, and Reth. Responsibilities include designing gas optimizations, integrating new AMMs, optimizing algorithm speed, and experimenting with Reth. Requirements include 5 years+ of engineering experience, experience with TypeScript and Rust or similar languages, software development best practices, previous exposure to Web3/Blockchain Applications, passion for decentralization and the 0x mission, US Compatible time zone, and exhibiting core values. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with API security & devOps, EVM experience, and production Rust experience.

Requirements

• 5 years+ of Engineering Experience
• Experience with TypeScript and Rust or similar languages
• Previous exposure to Web3/ Blockchain Applications

Responsibilities

• Design secure gas optimizations
• Stay abreast with the ecosystem and integrate new AMMs as they attract liquidity
• Optimize the speed of our algorithms
• Work with research engineers to implement novel pricing algorithms
• Experiment with Reth for faster data indexing

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with API security & devOps
• EVM experience
• Production Rust experience
