Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for individuals who can independently drive project delivery and mentor other engineers.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience/expertise in the following areas specified below*
• React Native: 3 - 5 years Prior Experience as a React Native mobile app developer. 1 or more years' experience developing with Apache Cordova is a plus
• Experience developing, building and maintaining React Native applications with clean code
• Good hands-on experience in HTML/CSS and mobile designing frameworks
• Experience integrating on third-party API's. Experience writing unit and integration tests
• Experience work with native modules when required
• Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript language. Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle
• Ability to work through new and difficult React Native issues
• Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of React Native applications
• Knowledge on tools : Jira, gitlab, etc. Experience maintaining code using GIT, branching strategies and feature branches
• NestJS with GraphQL
• Professional experience in backend API development using Nest.js framework stacks/frameworks/technologies (3- 5 years)
• If finding resources with NestJS is difficult then NodeJS would also work but GraphQL is an essential skill
• Familiarity with GraphQL concepts is a must
• Design and build GraphQL schema
• Work on the mobile app development cycle and its design principles
• Understand database design, architecting database schemas, optimizing data structures, and ensuring data integrity (MongoDB preferred)
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure robustness and reliability of the backend code
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices
• Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment
• Stay updated with the latest developments in the Node.js, Nest.js ecosystem and backend technologies
• Experience in Agile software development methodologies
• Expertise in applying Object-Oriented Programming principles (abstraction, encapsulation).High-level design proficiency following UML / C4 / ArchiMate
• Experience in creating and implementing well-tested, scalable, and performant enterprise-level systems
• Practice and initiative mentoring other engineers and decision-makers throughout the organization
• Good understanding of SOLID principles
• Familiarity with OWASP
• Proficiency in the English language

Responsibilities

• Facilitate effective communication with client project stakeholders regarding project status and recommendations
• Craft client code that is not just efficient but also performant, testable, scalable, secure, and of the highest quality
• Actively participate in accurate planning and estimation efforts, utilizing project methods and tools
• Proficiently gather requirements and organize/present developed features for clients
• Execute complex activities within the current methodology and quality standards, showcasing success across diverse engagements
• Promote client success across the team by collaborating with engineers, designers, and managers to understand user pain points, anticipate potential problems, and iterate on solutions that drive client success
• Engage in agile software development, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, team retrospectives, and other governance activities
• Actively participate in the Engineering Practice community, mentoring others through Communities of Practice (CoPs) or on project teams and supporting the growth of technical capabilities
• Independently drive project delivery within defined architecture, demonstrating autonomy and accountability in all stages from conceptualization to deployment
