Summary

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent/years of experience
  • 5+ years relevant work experience with strong technical experience of building or working on enterprise software applications
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies like C#, .NET, WPF, WinForms
  • Knowledge of implementing Web API
  • Exposure to SQL Server and TSQL
  • Exposure to tools like TFS, StyleCop, GitHub, JetBrains Resharper
  • Exposure to cross location teams and ability to work independently with both internal and external stakeholders across locations
  • Experience doing code reviews
  • Experience developing Unit Tests
  • Supportive team member. Always willing to be of assistance to others
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to articulate problems and solutions clearly and concisely
  • Proactive approach to learning and assignments

Responsibilities

  • Coding, testing, and documentation in new development and maintenance
  • Ownership of assigned software and non-software deliverables
  • Liaise with Business Analysts and/or internal customers to ensure that requirements are understood
  • Produce technical specifications, code and/or unit test plans in line with the functional specifications
  • Production of efficient and fully documented code
  • Timely and accurate reporting of project status
  • Escalate all issues in a timely fashion
  • Suggest quality and productivity improvements to established processes
  • Evaluate estimates and ask appropriate questions to derive better estimates
  • Come up with proof of concepts for new ideas or complex solutions
  • Work closely with Quality Engineers to resolve reported issues

  • Background in the Healthcare domain
  • Exposure to Agile development
