Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Join AppOmni's Core Engineering team as a Senior Backend Software Engineer and contribute to the development of major components of our SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) platform. Collaborate with technical leadership to design and develop code supporting security monitoring, management of SaaS platforms, and remediation workflows. This role offers the opportunity to make significant engineering decisions and impact the security of enterprise SaaS deployments. Requirements

• Possess excellent technical and non-technical communication skills
• Have a quality-oriented approach to building and testing applications including strong unit testing capabilities
• Have at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Python 3 and Django
• Have at least 7 years of software engineering experience including object-oriented design, data structure design, and work on abstracted codebases
• Demonstrate an interest in data, security, and data security
• Possess a knack for designing elegant solutions to complex problems requiring piecing together data from various sources
• Be able to work with and integrate external APIs

Responsibilities

• Contribute directly to major components of AppOmni’s SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) platform
• Be responsible for the design and development of major areas of the codebase that support security monitoring and management of SaaS platforms and remediation workflows to support customers in improving their security posture
• Take ownership of significant engineering decisions and implement technology that will improve the security of not only enterprise SaaS deployments but also their customers and end-users

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience with Django Rest Framework (DRF)
• Have experience with Kubernetes, GKE, and Postgres
• Have experience deploying and maintaining production applications in IaaS platforms
• Have prior Application, Product, or Enterprise Security experience
• Have experience writing integrations and/or connected apps for one or more of the following SaaS platforms: Microsoft365, ServiceNow, Workday, Atlassian

• Base Salary: The annual base salary compensation range in the U.S. for this role is: $156,060 - $211,140 USD
