Summary

Axoni is hiring a Scala Software Engineer to work on major client initiatives across various industries, using Scala functional programming, Akka, Typelevel, CatsEffect or ZIO, and REST API services. The role requires comfort with large data sets and knowledge of security best practices.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of professional software development experience with Scala functional programming
• Experience with Akka
• Experience with Typelevel, CatsEffect or ZIO
• Experience building REST API services
• Comfort with large data sets, preferably experience with Redis PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or DB2
• Knowledge of security best practices for application architecture, communication protocols, and AWS infrastructure
• Comfort with workflows in Gitlab, Jira, and Confluence
• Best practices for facilitating Agile and Test Driven Development

Responsibilities

• Software development for our biggest client initiatives
• Work directly with our clients to understand and solve their largest pain points
