Senior Software Engineer

Summary

BigID is a data security and privacy startup that focuses on solutions for data compliance, governance, and innovation. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with at least 5 years of backend development experience in Node.js and Java to join their team. The candidate will design logic solutions, write high-quality code, drive technological decisions, and review other team members' designs and code.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in backend development: Node.js, Java (with a willingness to develop using Node.js)
• At least 2 years of development experience with SaaS projects
• Deep understanding of API protocols (REST, JDBC, etc.)
• A solid knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols, such as OAuth, SAML, and JWT
• Experience in Agile development

Responsibilities

• Design logic solutions to complex challenges for our customers, who are among the most successful enterprises in the world
• Write high-quality code, covered by solid unit and integration tests
• Drive technological and architectural decisions
• Review other team members’ designs and code

Preferred Qualifications

• Full stack capabilities
• Experience with MongoDB
• Experience with Kubernetes
