Remote Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Blackpoint Cyber is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to drive the development of their innovative cybersecurity products. The role requires 6+ years of industry experience, proficiency in modern programming languages like JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js, and a strong desire to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.

Requirements

• 6+ years of industry experience in full-stack development
• Strong system design fundamentals and experience building scalable systems
• Knowledge and use of common data structures and algorithms to solve problems
• Proficiency in a range of modern programming languages and frameworks, particularly in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js
• Experience working with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright)

Responsibilities

• Deliver on business-critical outcomes through product contributions to the cybersecurity platform
• Define and build world-class user experiences that delight all Blackpoint customers
• Lead and drive projects that span the stack, including Node.js services hosted in Kubernetes and a UI written in Typescript and React

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to AWS and DevOps is a big plus
