Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of a diverse team focused on private investment banking, developing scalable and efficient solutions using .NET (backend) and React (frontend). You will leverage your expertise in algorithms, system design, and AWS to build high-performance applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive technical decision-making. The role offers a flexible work environment, with the option to work 100% remotely if located in LATAM. This position requires at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Requirements

• Studies in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• Proficiency in C# (.NET) for backend development
• Experience with React for frontend development
• Strong understanding of SQL databases and data modeling
• Experience with AWS and cloud-based architectures
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and implement efficient algorithms
• Experience in system design and architecture, understanding conceptual use cases and scalability
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a cross-functional team
• Excellent written and verbal English for clear and effective communication with the team
• At least 5+ years of experience in similar roles

Responsibilities

• Engage in hands-on coding, focusing on backend development with .NET while contributing to frontend tasks using React
• Design and implement optimal algorithms and scalable solutions, ensuring high performance and efficiency
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and developers, to drive successful project execution
• Participate in technical decision-making, selecting the right tools and approaches for each problem
• Conduct and participate in code reviews, maintaining high-quality standards and best practices
• Work with AWS cloud services, designing and deploying scalable and secure applications
• Utilize strong SQL skills to design and optimize database solutions
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance development practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of financial concepts related to the industry
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform is a plus)
