Requirements

• Studies in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong Java programming skills with experience in real-time system development
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing large datasets
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to owning tasks from start to finish
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with multiple teams and stakeholders
• Experience with interpreting large-scale data
• Experience with A/B testing methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal English for clear and effective communication with the team
• 5+ years of experience in similar roles

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain real-time backend systems using Java, optimizing performance with a focus on latency, scalability, and reliability
• Write and deploy high-quality, tested code to production
• Analyze large datasets using SQL to validate production changes and A/B tests
• Take ownership of end-to-end validation processes, ensuring successful implementation of changes
• Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies used within the team
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align business decisions and A/B testing strategies across multiple teams
• Manage and oversee assigned projects, ensuring timely execution and delivery
• Work with additional technologies such as Python, Scala, and Go when needed
• Gain exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as the team increasingly integrates cloud solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Python, Scala, Go, or GCP
• Exposure to project management concepts, ensuring timely delivery of initiatives
