Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Join Ceros as a Senior Full Stack Engineer and contribute to building the future of our API. This remote-first role, based in the UK or Europe, involves designing and building the Ceros platform, a no-code content creation platform used by leading brands. You will work with a talented team, collaborating on high-complexity projects and pushing the boundaries of web browser capabilities. The role requires expertise in both frontend and backend development, using technologies like TypeScript/JavaScript, React, and Node.js. You will be responsible for writing well-architected code, conducting thorough testing, and participating in code reviews. Requirements

• Be experienced in building backend services
• Be skilled in both frontend and backend development
• Have experience in building APIs and understand best practices

Responsibilities

• Write well-architected, maintainable code
• Plan and lead high-complexity stories and epics
• Write unit, functional and e2e tests
• Review story plans and offer insights on impacts to other parts of the application
• Carry out and be on the receiving end of intense code review sessions from your peers who hold your work (and their own) to the highest of standards
• Agonize over the user experience until even a trained monkey could use the product
• Participate as a primary on-call resource for service disruptions
• Suggest new technologies and techniques to improve engineer productivity
• Collaborate with and mentor your peers on security best practices
• Deploy your code to production and see the customer create something amazing and beautiful with it
