Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Join CloudWalk, a rapidly growing fintech company, and become a key member of our engineering team. Collaborate with engineers and leaders to design and develop our ledger based on EVM and Home Bank solution. You will be responsible for discussing architecture strategies, improving team productivity, leading automated testing, debugging production issues, and mentoring other engineers. This role requires experience with critical infrastructure, cloud providers (GCP, AWS), relational and NoSQL databases, and proficiency in Rust. Excellent communication skills in English are essential. CloudWalk offers a fully remote and distributed work environment.

Requirements

• Has operated critical infrastructure and partnered with renowned cloud providers (like GCP, AWS, terraform)
• Possesses excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, NoSQL, ORM technologies and principally Rust ecosystem
• Is proficient in developing software using Rust
• Communicates outstandingly well
• Advanced English communication skills, primarily for internal communication with our diverse, multinational team
• As a member of a fully remote and distributed team, you are expected to complete tasks autonomously, being highly collaborative and self-driven

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and other leaders at CloudWalk to design and develop our ledger based on EVM ( github.com/cloudwalk/stratus ) and Home Bank solution
• Discuss and debate architecture strategies to achieve solutions for our customers
• Help and improve the team to achieve unparalleled technical productivity, reliability, and simplicity
• Lead in developing and sustaining automated test suites, diving deep into debugging production issues, design and developing load tests, benchmarks, tools and procedures to make it reliable
• Help and nurture engineers on the team, guiding them to scale new heights in their careers
• Evaluate and deploy essential software tools, processes, and metrics
• Actively contribute to CloudWalk's engineering-wide initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

Has some knowledge of the Brazilian payments ecosystem (installments, SPI, SPB, CIP, etc)
