Summary

Join a dynamic team at Consumer Edge, a leading data and insights-as-a-service company, as a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend). You will translate designs into code, creating visual and functional application elements. Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other engineers to bridge the gap between design and technical implementation. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to influence technical and visual design within a growing company. The Data Enrichment Team builds internal tools for data analysts and product managers. The role involves developing new features, building reusable components, ensuring technical feasibility, optimizing application speed and scalability, and owning the full release cycle. Consumer Edge fosters a culture of autonomy and independent decision-making.

Requirements

  • You have at least 4 year’s experience developing features in TypeScript or JavaScript
  • You’ve worked with one or more frameworks in the JS ecosystem (Vue, React, Angular etc.)
  • You are proficient in using CSS/SCSS/Tailwind to create beautiful web applications
  • You are comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team and not afraid to voice your opinion
  • You are familiar with unit testing libraries such as Jest and e2e testing libraries such as Cypress
  • You are familiar with the npm /yarn ecosystem and know how to publish packages on private or public registries

Responsibilities

  • Develop new user-facing features
  • Build reusable UI components and packages for future use
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
  • Own the full release cycle from development to deployment

Preferred Qualifications

  • You are as comfortable writing a service in Node as you are creating custom UI components
  • Experience with GraphQL both in client applications and on the server side
  • Experience creating graphs in D3
