Summary

Join Datadog's SDK team and contribute to the development and maintenance of Real User Monitoring (RUM) SDKs for Unity and other game engines. You will collaborate with various teams to deliver high-performance monitoring solutions for games across multiple platforms. This role requires strong experience with Unity or Unreal APIs, proficiency in C++, and a passion for building robust, well-architected code. Requirements

  • You have strong experience with the APIs and ecosystem of Unity or Unreal. You are comfortable debugging complex issues in a variety of setups
  • You have relevant experience in developing code for Unity, Unreal or an in-house engine
  • You have experience shipping to Consoles and PCs
  • You are proficient in C++ and cross-compilation for various platforms
  • You value code simplicity and performance
  • Experience developing commercially shipped SDKs

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and write new components of Datadog's Unity and Native SDKs SDK
  • Support our growth into Unreal and other game engines, across all platforms (PC, XBox, Playstation, Switch and Mobile)
  • Work closely with the backend, frontend and product teams to deliver the best-in-class performance monitoring product for games
  • Contribute to the improvement our engineering tooling and practices
  • Write code in the public eye, being the face of Datadog inside the community
