We're looking for a highly motivated, mission-focused Senior Engineer to join our Core Product team. As a Senior Engineer, you will work across the full stack to build delightful and impactful features that are focused on making Discord the best place to play games and hangout with your friends online.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Experience with React and/or Javascript
• Specialized in building consumer-facing products on web and mobile platforms
• Developed domain expertise in either web or mobile front-end (or both)
• Eager to learn new languages and frameworks, and are comfortable working across the full stack when needed
• Worked in a product team with clear metrics goals and had a measurable positive impact on customers
• Strong product sense and take pride in sweating the details of great UX
• Motivated to help your team members succeed and grow and learn from each other through empathetic feedback

Responsibilities

• Building delightful products with a very high bar for quality, performance, and a focus on impact
• Working with Product, Design, Data Science, UX Research, and Marketing to shape the team’s vision and roadmap
• Helping find the right solutions that balance delight, speed of delivery and impact by collaborating with design and product partners

Benefits

US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000 to $201,000 + equity + benefits
