Senior Software Engineer

Requirements

• Experience with computer science concepts
• Proficient in one or more programming languages(C#/VB .Net) and operating environments
• At least 1 year experience with AWS services like EKS/EC2/Lamba functions
• Knowledge of software engineering such as testing(nunit/xunit), source control(bitbucket), and agile planning
• Experience creating system documentation
• Experience with the relational databases like Microsoft SQL
• Experience with Message queues like RabbitMQ
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
• At least 7 yrs years of experience in a computing environment

Responsibilities

• Analyze, develops, codes and implements programs in one or more programming languages, for a specific assigned software system or systems
• Implement given test scripts, records results, and report issues
• Identify application, database software, and programming problems
• Assess the health and performance of software applications and databases
• Participate and maintain relationships with departments, customers and information technology subject matter experts to remain informed of direction, project status, architectural and technology risks and functional/integration issues
• Provide appropriate research support to business and information technology groups. Advise on options, impact on other business processes, and system priorities
• Write program specifications for individual programs
