Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Join Fender Musical Instruments Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer in Ensenada, Mexico! Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience creating digital applications dealing with large datasets
• Solid understanding of either Golang or Typescript
• Experience working in the AWS environment, including creating serverless applications using AWS Lambda
• Understanding of database technologies including SQL/NoSQL, for example Postgres, Dynamo, and Redshift
• Experience working with a team of engineers to rapidly create new functionality, and a strong desire to support your teammates and mentor more junior engineers
• This role is a remote position, with the occasional need for working inside our Ensenada facilities, so proximity to Ensenada is important

Responsibilities

• Create new functionality and maintain existing platform code and tests
• Work alongside other client and platform engineers to rapidly prototype new ideas
• Collaborate cross-department to ensure all requirements are met to spec and on time
• Deploy your code in a serverless environment, running with high availability and high scalability
• Work with various AWS services such as Lambda, Redshift, Aurora, Dynamo, and SQS to build secure data-rich backend applications
• Work with AI via AWS Bedrock to add artificial intelligence to existing applications and create new workflows utilizing AI
• Additional duties as assigned
